FALL is THE TIME

Every year around October, the California surf industry slows a hair. Its been like clockwork as far back as I can remember, and its always struck me as pretty funny. Its the calm before the storm, summer has slowed, south swell stoke is waning, and winter isn't in swing yet. This is the window to order boards. The North Pacific will wake up soon, and just like every year, it'll catch everyone with their pants down and orders will FLOOD in.

We tell ourselves that we'll be ready this time, but we rarely are. I'm in the same group, dont worry, but I do know better - and - I felt I should try to remind some of y'all that this, now, right now, this is the window. The perfect quiet little moment before the winter backlog begins to pile up.

ALSO - As you saw in my last little email, you can now change the dimensions of custom orders, so there hasn't been a better time to ready your troops (quiver), and get ahead of the game.
