THE TIME HAS COME

LOVEMACHINE has always been a growing breathing project, and here is a major change for y'all. It took me a fair bit of thinking and wrestling with my mind to figure out how I'd lay this out and when, but you can now customize orders within a set range of dimensions, 1/16" at a time.

The lengths of the models stay the same, but now you can add or subract width up to 1/2", and add or subtract thickness by 1/4".
This range presents a wide variety of options in my experience, and is essentially the range I keep my hand shapes within as well - My hesitation with this change has always been someone exploding a small board well beyond its intended range (ever see one of those ridiculous MEGA shortboards by a big production performance brand? LOOOOOOOL).

By keeping lengths static and opening up a range of width and thickness changes, you can drastically tune the way any of the models will feel or float underfoot, so here is a really nice quick way to think about changes in dimensions, in huge generalizations:

OUTLINES:

-When you ADD width to a board, it will create more CURVE in the outline, making it slower in a straight line, but turn and carve more 'round'.

-When you SUBTRACT width, you make the outline straighter, adding speed in a straight line, but making the board tighter on rail.

*WIDE

THICKNESS:

When you ADD thickness, you create more paddle power and glide, but put yourself more 'on top' of the water, like a cork.

When you SUBTRACT thickness, you'll lose some glide, and sit deeper in the wave face and deeper in the pocket.

Any model in the custom board builder is now open, ready and willing for change - have at it and remember not to aim for just a larger or smaller Liter number, but keep in mind overall curve and what it will do to your ride overall! ENJOY
